Marna Smuts
Dietitian –
I’m Marna Smuts, a Registered Dietitian with a deep passion for promoting healthy lifestyles, and to inspire and empower others to make positive changes in their lives through the power of nutrition. I strongly believe that everyone deserves access to accurate and reliable nutrition information, and I am committed to providing you with evidence-based guidance rooted in scientific principles.
Through personalised nutrition plans, I work closely with families to address specific dietary concerns and establish healthy eating habits that support optimal health. As a dedicated advocate for optimal nutrition, I strive to empower individuals and families to take charge of their health. Children’s diets hold a special place in my heart. I believe that proper nutrition during childhood is crucial for growth, development, and the prevention of chronic diseases later in life.
I provide not only knowledge but also motivation, support, and accountability throughout your journey towards achieving your health and wellness goals. I understand that healthy eating habits can be challenging to establish and maintain, which is why I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way. Thilda Kruger
Physiotherapist – Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal & Chronic Pain
Thilda is a skilled and experienced Physiotherapist, who finished her studies at the University of Pretoria in 1988.
She has been in private practice for over 30 years and has worked with various sport teams and elite athletes during this time. She lectured at the University of the Free state for 5 years and also was a Senior Clinic Manager at the Spinal Rehabilitation Centre where her passion for spinal and Pain rehabilitation started.
She is a “Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal” and “Chronic Pain” trained therapist, and uses manual techniques according to Maitland, Mullighan and McKenzie.
She is also a trained Pilates instructor and uses uniquely designed protocols for her rehabilitation programs.
Thilda successfully incorporates a variety of modalities, therapies and techniques during her treatment sessions which include:

She served the Physiotherapy Society as chair of the Free State branch for 3 years and is currently on their Accreditation Committee.
As a member of the Physiotherapy Society she strives to be an advocate for her profession and committed herself to their practice accreditation process.

Erika van der Mescht
Physiotherapist – Lymhoedema & Cancer Rehabilitation
Erika finished her training in 2010 at the University of Pretoria.
In 2012 she started working with lymphoedema patients and since then she has been very passionate about educating her patients as well as the public about lymphoedema management.
She did her first Lymphoedema Certification Course in 2015, and then co-presented in the future training of more Lymphoedema Therapists. She then did an Advance lymphoedema management certification at the Lymphoedema Training Academy (UK) in 2019.Seeing all the side-effects of cancer, she then decided to do her PINC International Certification Course, to help patients to rehabilitate during and after cancer and cancer treatment.

Juan Oosthuizen
Biokineticist – Excercise Specialist & Rehabilitation
Juan is an enthusiastic Biokineticist with a passion for movement and optimal performance of the human body, with a strong belief that exercise is medicine. He is an exercise specialist knowledgeable in scientific-based exercise prescription and rehabilitation of injured muscles or orthopedic-related injuries. He has obtained his Bachelor of Sport Science degree, as well as his Honours in Biokinetics at the University of Pretoria. He is a skilled mountain/road cyclist and trail/road runner with many years of experience, training for multiple events of various distances and difficulties. Lastly, he is a qualified Pilates instructor with over 500 hours of practice.
Juan strives for excellence in every aspect of his life and constantly works with a positive attitude towards achieving the goals of his athletes and patients. He is fully committed to progressively rehabilitating his patients in order for them to return to an improved way of living and performance in their respective sports. Juan believes that each and every person deserves the best quality of life possible and that it can, undoubtedly, be obtained through the power of exercise.

Liezel Kleynhans
Audiologist –
I am a registered Clinical Audiologist with a Bachelors Degree in B. Communication Pathology (Honours in Audiology) and have been in private practice for 7 years. I obtained my degree from the University of Pretoria in 2015 and did my community service year at Tembisa Hospital.
I have a passion to help patients with hearing and communication difficulties. It motivates me to see my patients strive above the difficult challenges that accompanies hearing loss and hearing related disorders. I follow an holistic approach to hearing healthcare and ensure that each patient is treated with the utmost care, integrity and respect. My goal is to provide patients with the necessary tools, expertise, and follow-up care to succeed on their journey to optimal hearing.
